I love Willie and his version of Always On My Mind beats the lot but here he's not a patch on Cohen but then nobody is.

Out of casual interest, for those who've heard several versions, how does Willie Nelson's version of Hallelujah rank against all the others?

Thank you Cat; God knows what's chewing up some of our posts at present; they are "onto it"!

I did post a FAB Chart update this lunchtime but it seems to have been eaten, so here's another attempt.
That song seems to be everywhere at the moment. The FAB Chart bring us Willie Nelson's version of "Hallelujah" at 17. It's quite a dreary song so it suits his voice.
Highest new entry is from Bill Owen and Kathy Staff with "Nora Batty's Stockings". It's a fun song and a fitting tribute to them both.
Lynyrd Skynyrd are probably the last band I'd expect to see in this chart, but it highlights the eclectic nature and it is a Christmas song.
Andy Williams adds some more seasonal spice at 11.
I'd happily forgotten about The Snowman until I saw them coming in at 20, but this is the time of goodwill and tolerance so Ho Ho Hokey Cokey.
Status Quo retain the top spot.
A real Christmassy selection. Well worth a listen.
