BR Gig was a great success.

Good turnout by major labels and several live agents.

It was good to see The Dastards back in London again after a bit of an absence. Good songs and good stage presence. Still very early days for the band but if they can get out of the Midlands and come to London more often it should pay dividends for them.

The set was well received and I believe they have some more London shows lined up in Shoreditch - check their My Space.

MINUS IQ were the star turn of the show - they were simply electric on the night. As the headline act said of them - the best band they have seen live for years. Combining a modern sound with a Duran Duran capability with 4 incredibly good looking indie lads I can see this band being bigger than any other band currently being touted in 2009.

Flipping cold though.

Off to the BULL AND GATE tonight to see the amazing LORD BYRON ( Aussie band big on dramatic songs with a theatrical feel who are packing them in in London )

Lots of good live action in the smaller venues in January.

BR For many Tip Sheet posters this band are well known because of their SHAMI song.

Just a reminder that they are in the Top West End club venue THE FLY on MONDAY 19 JANUARY playing at approx 9.30p.m.

Worth seeing and it has been a while since they last played London.

All welcome.
