JK2006 Quite likely; I loved their anarchist attitude but really felt disappointed they didn't continue with my release plan - it would have given them three enormous global hits and a massive platform to express their views instead of being a one hit wonder act.
giles2008 I heard a story that Chumbawamba sold Tubthumping to General Motors and donated the cash to a strike commitee at one of the companys car plants.
Betty Boomer I wish you were back running Eurovision - it was so much more fun then. And we won.
JK2006 Thank you Cass and your post is not total claptrap... but I suspect the truth is more that I've always been a singles queen...

I love and spot hits, not always artistes or careers (I suspect that's why Abba used to get me to choose their singles for them through our associate company).

But it's true that Genesis and Rocky were the product of more general enthusiasm and yes, I am still owner of many copyrights from them, 10cc and others.

I still think Stronger and She Walks should have been smashes and I do believe I would have turned them into hits had I been involved.

I never heard any other hits from Orson or the Baha Men - I made no money from Orson though I did make a lot from Dogs, thanks to the decency of my friend Steve Greenberg, and I did believe Chumbawaba killed a great career by dumping me - they had two other smashes I'd have followed Tubthumping with.

Eurovision? Well I must admit I think my approach was the right one and results proved that.
Walter Sobchak Dear God , please spare us from such utter claptrap and sycophancy. And check your facts, JK had nothing to do really with ABBA.
