MC MC He's always been one of my favourite music writers - I grew up reading his work in Melody Maker in the seventies and as fine a sports writer as he is I wish he'd do more music writing these days. And crucially his review actually makes me want to hear the record, which unfortunately is a sight more than I can say about most current music critics.
