DJones The NYT writes today about Rick Rubins' track record (or the lack of one) as Columbia executive.

Nothing new, apart from this gem:

"Notably, Mr. Rubin, and Mr. Barnett and Mr. Stringer, as a pair, have outside public relations executives representing them, which is unusual for top executives who work at corporations that have an in-house communications department."

JK2006 Actually since I believe the majors died in late 2006 it is really of no consequence but it does seem an odd appointment.
