sorry Andrew, but must respectfully disagree. Your own diagnosis of "crappy daytime repeats" and lack of spending rather says it all.
Compare with the net: fresh, exciting, new talent coming through and an environment where cheesy repeats are instantly clicked off. No contest. |

TV is not dead yet they need to splash a bit on good prograames and not crappy daytime repeats. |

... via one of the various music channels on digital. Mostly they show videos, but there is the Performance Channel which has a few decent concerts (Marianne Faithful yesterday). I never saw a great deal of real music on Saturday morning mainstream TV, just some bits of manufactured pap. However, JK, I see your point. Not everyone has digital, and more music should be available on regular TV.
Maybe the ITV shakeup will produce something. |
