Al And another vote for the No.1. Tom Bolton. Songwriting at it's best.

Why have I not heard of this guy before?
zooloo ...another "vote" for No 1 - his MySpace is worth a listen too

Cheers Cat
Emma Bee I really like the new Number One. It's very catchy.
The Cat Highest new entry, right at the top, is from Tom Bolton. It's accoustic, and reminds me very much of the imaginative songs by the likes of Scott McKenzie, Grapefruit and The Beatles back in the 60s. The sort of song I wish I could write.

Rock band Fortune sound slightly similar to AC/DC at 14. Not bad at all.

UB40 are in at 16. This is one of their best, in my opinion. I've never been a real lover of Ska, but I can't help but like this song.

20 sees the Attic Lights version of the Minder theme. I prefer the original which had more life. This is more of a 'through the motions' cover, performed without any great enthusiasm. But if you've not heard the original it probably isn't too bad.

Highest climber is Pete Rivers, and there's also a good upwards move for Randy Crawford.

Some cool sounds, worth checking out.
