paulo i agree, what a shocking display of song writing
even alw tiresome effort could do well
there were some excellent songs a few years ago many of which finished mid table, they would have walked this contest
perhaps the cost of staging it has put them off, the credit crunch hits the contest,
i wonder what they will serve at the opening party, no caviare just that dreadful beetroot concoction, you will need plenty of vodka
Anthony If you found last year's contest dull, JK, you'll be mortified (and stupefied) by this one.

Even ALW's half-arsed ballad-by-numbers disappointment may do relatively well at this rate.

As a betting man, I always cross the no-hopers off to arrive at a short list. I have crossed every song off so far, so can only assume that nobody will win!
JK2006 Sadly again a very dull Eurovision year from everything I've heard.
I do think your Norway lad could do well.

I agree with Mike here. As long as they are adequate live singers, this will pick up shedloads of votes. In what is a rather weak contest so far in my view, it is most definitely the one to beat so far.

The unknown quantity this year is whether it is the type of thing the mysterious professional juries are looking for.

If it was still 100% televote and this was the Armenian song, I'd put a lot of money on it winning.

I thought the mysterious professional juries were all going to vote for UK because she has the same forename as Ms Goody. That should ensure them "max" points anyway
