it wasn't only the mood Kelvin got horribly wrong with Liverpool, but the facts from top to bottom of what happened that day despite being told the contrary by reporters who were on the scene. An appalling error by such an experienced journalist and editor.
You know it's estimated that The Sun has lost nearly 200 million in revenue in lost sales since that day and still has a miniscule readership on Merseyside.

They have got the entire Jacko thing wrong; virtually everyone rates him as an amazing entertainer and wants to see him yet the meejah, blinkered and tunnel visioned, think only the "freak" aspect interests readers and viewers.
I remember when Kelvin got the mood totally wrong with his Elton coverage. Likewise Liverpool.
These days they fall for the loud shouters and one dimensional sloganistas and think everyone thinks in black and white.
