JK2006 After Eddie came round for dinner last night I heard two tracks that we spoke about on Steve Wright this afternoon.

Rock Me Amadeus - I heard this on holiday in Austria, bought a copy, called my friend Gerry Moss (the M of A&M) and told him he had a potential global No1.

"From Austria?" he replied in disbelief.

But trusting in my ears he alerted his international people and the rest is history for Falco.

And Opus Life Is Life we featured on my Hits of Europe show from Montreaux - and it broke as a result.

And Steve played Fight For Your Right by the Beastie Boys - when I was a CBS consultant, Al Teller promised me if we broke that in the UK (no problem, I thought), he'd break Wham/George Michael in the States.

Mission accomplished.
