JC I always found her voice very pleasant. BBC4 does provide us with music we don't hear on other channels. I enjoyed a Steeley Span concert a few weeks ago, and I hear they featured Val Doonican recently. My favourite BBC4 music special was John Lee Hooker and friends. I don't know of any other mainstream TV channels which feature Jazz or Blues.
JK2006 Was never on her show - I think that would have been one too many pair of spectacles.
giles2008 A grossly underrated singer. Hopefully we may now get a chance to see some of her wonderful BBC shows from the seventies. Did you ever guest on her show JK?.
