Discovery Showcae moves from Soho Revue bar to new venue, Tabernacle in Notting Hill. The first Discovery of 2009 promises to be a very special night, the Tabernacle doesn't officially open until May so this is the first music event at the new venue that in the past has played host to bands like Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Rolling Stones and Van Morrison.
Artist to watch out for will be Singer/Songwriter Kirsty Almeida (www.myspace.com/almeidagirl), who is being courted by a number of labels and publishers. She will be playing with a 9 -piece band performing her unique blend of music which has been described as a cross between Corinne Bailey Rae, Norah Jones and Roberta Flack.
