Bemuso I agree.

But I don't think this one will fly.

Up to now, the usual suspects have been quite happy to sit on the fence or tentatively back these web campaigns. Now that it's getting to be a regular part of PR strategy I think we'll see a much more robust response from people who really know what they're talking about.

Nizlopi and the Monkeys were genuine popular hits. The web hanky panky was a side show. Real word of mouth never needed much technology.

Sadly web hanky panky is now in the driving seat. It won't last.

(I don't think the much trailed "bogus artist experiment" we've been promised will make much difference either way.)
JK2006 ooh Kev who shook your tree??!!!
Kev SMT/SLT - plug plug plug, hype hype hype.

One song on a web site and she's the next best thing? I'm sick of seeing posts about her all over the place, all this self promotion is probably doing more harm than good.
Extraordinary... the SMT/SLT seems to stand for...
So Many Terrorists/So Little Time

Bizarre name for a solo girl singer?
Bloody good song though.

But how about...

She sounds far more original and different to me.
