Dominic Dee An act like Diversity is never likely to be very long term, unless it is a "going concern" where the membership changes - rather like the boys choir 'Libera'. There would have to be one member who 'owns the brand'.

But I think that BGT is more about getting the cash prize and appearing at the Royal Variety Performance. Most people who enter won't be looking much beyond that. For those seeking more it serves as a showcase. There are several producers who watch, looking for new talent.

I like Diversity, but the main question for them, and for others, is whether they can maintain the standard in the next rounds. I was disappointed that George Sampson just copied his earlier performance for the final, whereas the others all learned something fresh. It didn't stop him winning, but I think the result had been pretty much decided beforehand.

So far, Diversity have impressed me the most.
giles2008 Exactly why none of these dance troupes will win this year.Too many members can lead to splits and arguements and court cases and of course Simon can do without all that. They were a reasonable couple of minutes entertainment but i cant see them becoming the next Riverdance.
Emma Bee Anyone know how much money Simon made out of George Sampson? I can't imagine it was very much after all the expenses were considered.
giles2008 Neither will win of course. BGT did dance last year wth wee Geogie. They will be in the final to make up the numbers along with a couple of speciality acts and a couple of wee children. The winner will be the one SC can make the most money out of.
JK2006 Simon was dead right too - both Flawless and Diversity have been sensational and truly original and exciting and, for me, illustrate everything great and positive about Britain today.

It's much more than great choreography.

It's a feeling of unity and team work and effort and practice and kindred spirits.

Somehow it brings us hope. Nothing to do with music or even dance - it simply bursts with positive vibes.

Loved Diversity to bits.
