Original tipster I even miss the ident when a track comes on the radio without it!
Look at the acts on that CD... Sixpence, Def Leppard, Nas and Puffy, Cuban Boys, Mike and the Mechanics, A, Supergrass, Mopeds, Dinah Washington and Brook Benton...
No wonder there's never been anything like it since.
Roll on Tipsheet Radio I say!
Vince W I have that one, if you want me to copy it then email me!

JK2006 every now and then, sadly, the public gets it wrong.
And even more often the stupid labels don't know how to break a track or an artiste.
My two failures as a Consultant to BMG were Dave Matthews Band (David Joseph couldn't do it... shame on you David) and Sarah McLachlan (another BMG failure).
But I would not consider either of those artistes failures.
They are and were both huge talents.
The labels and the public and the media got it wrong. THEY got it right!
Just because nobody bought a Van Gogh in his lifetime, leading him to serious shaving of his ear, didn't mean HE was wrong.

I rest my case, Revisionist!!
revisionist thanks for printing that tracklisting.. you have reminded me just how random those tip sheet cds used to be...how many of those tracks were hits..maybe 2?
funny how we're led to believe that the tipsheet was always so spot on the money!
Ghost of 1999 Do people still have their Tipsheet CDs?

I'm asking partly out of curiousity, and partly because I'm desperately seeking someone who can make me a copy of the CD that came with Issue #302. Jonathan King suggested there might be a few colletors on the board.

The #302 CD was the one that included "Cognoscenti vs. Intelligentsi"....
