nathanjay As an (occasional) DJ, I always prefer using vinyl. You know where ther beat will drop out/come back in just by looking at the grooves. Its always pleasing to see the new 12"s in HMV.

Have you noticed people still refer to extra tracks on a CD single or download as "the b side"
vinyl lover New bands (more or less) ALL want vinyl releases these days.

the collectors go nuts for them, they look great, i'm totally convinced!
terrylamps My kids are now buying vinyl despite having the latest top of the range ipods and are actually excited by the arrival of each new package. Mind you they are buying mostly retro rock 'old' vinyl as opposed to new acts(except for Towers Of London)

Martin K I have even bought a new record deck, and the packaging on the Kate Bush album on vinyl is superb.
