JK2006 The Velvet Rope was the very first Music Industry message board, started by Julie Gordon 13 years ago on AOL.
I used it as the model for our Tip Sheet board when we expanded the physical publication online about 9-10 years ago.
Julie and I then became close friends - and remain so.
Like all boards it goes up and down but remains an incredibly useful forum.
Concentrates on USA stuff but has many UK and European posters.
