ELECTRIC RIVER from Kent

Saw them at the BARFLY last weekend. They were stunning.

A 10 piece band inc brass section and they moved from Clasheque combat rock into ska tinged anthemic stadium rock.

The crowd went totally crazy and I really wondered whether the floor was going to hold up.

They are the bastard son of The Clash - Madness - Imperial Leisure - U2.

If you get a chance see the band live this autumn. Go to their My Space to find out where they are playing.
