JK2006 Thanks for that GG.

A legend indeed.
GG Les Paul was as important to the record business as Thomas Edison.

Les Paul invented multi-track recording.

I went to see Les at Fat Tuesdays to pay tribute to him long ago. His son Rusty arranged for me to go early to talk with Les that night. I was sitting at an empty bar drinking shots with Les Paul. Pinch me!
I thought it may have been my grandfather. Same type of nice man.

I was worried that Les may fall off the stool as we continued to drink, and even more so that he could play the set.

But play he did, those singing single notes and he was fantastic on a very very old guitar.

I knew he was getting older and knew this day would come.

Godspeed old friend. You are immortal.
