Anthony Doesn't sound very melodic or tuneful to me, but then I'm no Rybak fan. I am, as any regular visitor to this site knows, a massive Eurovision fan, so good luck to him, I guess. Won't be purchasing the song myself though.
david you have apoint Giles that it may be too "melodic" to do well here, we don't really do melodic, or do we?

I think his big mistake was to be almost completely unavailable for international tv/press after Eurovision, as he had already pre-booked a big tour of Norwegian and Swedish folk festivals for the summer. Not a wise decision.

Still, I do like this, if you can ignore the girls dancing in the grass.
giles2008 Better than Fairytale by miles and probably number one in half of mainland Europe. Too tuneful for the UK though. And no Eurovision plug for this one either.
david starts out sounding like Fairytale, but is actually a much better song if you give it time.
