No I think one of the problems is - it can and probably will ruin lives; pretending people are talented when really they are not and their lives then collapse. |

I haven't a clue who's in this years's X-Factor or whether they are any good. I saw a headline today that they are already down to their final 12. Can they really drag it out until Christmas? I think that, for me, this was the biggest turn off. I just couldn't face four months of the show and so didn't even watch the start, although I did catch one brother sister act which was too awful to be genuine. I haven't even been tempted since.
On the subject of headlines, I also saw one where last years winner claims the X-Factor ruined her life. I didn't actually read the story. Maybe it was just another publicity stunt for the show. |

Yes I think the format is in its dying days and the identikit talent (or lack of it) is drying up; very little to bother with this year though funnily enough I think the dreadful twins, if cleverly styled, recorded and manipulated (with autotune) could do very well for Louis.
Their obnoxious but young attitude is refreshing. |

I am really struggling to pick more than 2 or 3 good acts from this years X-Factor. Simon says this year is the best yet but I'm not convinced (I suppose he has to say that though to keep the viewers hooked).
I am shocked that Louis picked those awful twins! They clearly couldn't sing and missed so may opportunities to harmonise against each other to stand out and shine. It just sums up the whole industry doesn't it! Louis knows that auto-tune will be his saviour to making his next million.
Shame to see Cheryl boot out that American lad. He was great but what do I know?
Not feeling too excited about watching this season's live finals unfortunately... |

So clearly the one who deserves to win X Factor 2009, I worried he might get pushed out. |
