Spiritwalker Love sixteen potential teen anthem, lyrically.
Michael But isn't the original cool? I've been listening to it again, neat arrangement, very slick funky but almost spartan backing. I like the change in rhythm at 30 seconds. Very subtle, enough to keep the track moving forward rather than getting stuck in the rhythmical loop - arrangemetn like this is a dying art in my opinion as many musicians lose the connection with live playing. But it's only normal "Fame" is so carat when you look at the musos involved. This version is hardly a mash-up, as nothing new is brought to the track musically.

Frazer is cool enough. But I prefer him on "Sixteen", although the backing provides an example of the limits of the endless loop I'm talking about. It would be good also to get some extra backing voices in there and a brighter chorus-like element to open it a little harmonically.
Spiritwalker Thing i like about it is it's about UK culture and not bling bling bitches and hoes, and he has a tight flow with an old school feel

Martin K ..and then I wasn`t. This kind of rap would be excellent at the end of a "That was the Week that Was", kind of show, but must be a difficult one to release for many reasons.
The guy is very witty, and I hope he proves me wrong, but when it get`s to the Doherty/Moss lines, I expected it, and it was one to many statements for me.
Very well put together though.
Well found though Spirit.
XFM are certainly doing their bit at the moment as well.
