DJones Some lost 45s:

GG "Stone in Love" is a great song from a massive album (every song was good) produced by a hero of mine, Mike Stone. Instantly transports me to my youth and the gorgeous blond in it at the time.

That album had to have been no 1 in the States for months. I would say it was one of the albums that made me have to find out how to make records.

We may never see an album perform like that again.

Melody! Something largely missing today.

So many lost 45's yet I can't think of my favorite.
JK2006 Did the interview at length (1 hour) so will let you know when it airs.

Check out his shows online.

JK2006 I'm doing an interview with a DJ, Barry Scott, who found me through this Tipsheet site - he does a top rated show on radio which sounds brilliant and you can hear it online. Great idea - covering one off smashes from the 60s.

Which is your favourite Lost 45?

Incidentally, my second favourite Journey track wasn't that big at all - check out Stone In Love.
