GG There is nothing shocking about it. She was a cute widget with a great debut song written by a professional hitmaker, and nothing more. Most people in the record business know this.

She is no longer cute or 16. Her dance moves are as stiff and unnatural as it gets.

For goodness sake Kylie is a better dancer and has remained cute for 20 years, and she would be the first one to tell you she is not a dancer.

Someone recently said to me that Spears was an icon and I got very upset at the lack of common sense. You see to me John Lennon is an icon, or in pop (Kylie or ABBA) not an industry manufactured train wreck.
