Martin K .....you have just sold the album to ME now! Classic tunes!
Yeah!
dixie 20th Century Boy, Rock On, Waterloo Sunset, Hell raiser, little Bit of love, He's Gonna Step On You Again, Golden Age of Rock'n'Roll - plus lots more - Fantasic track listing. Bowie did it with Pin-Ups. Take some great songs, (and not all that well known or heard these days), and put the Def Leppard style to them - Wonderful.

Fred - BTW - Did you get into "Golden Age of Rock'n'Roll" when you shopped at a certain record store in Warwickshire?

I like them a lot as people and loved their music.

Joe is a really great guy, i've met him a couple of times. Very down to earth and genuine.
Martin K ..be it start in a controversial way or not, it has no doubt introduced people to a record that may not have been on your and many other peoples earholes today.
Inadvertantly of course, NME, probably helped it along as well.
fred reading this thread lead me to checking out Yeah on itunes. Great taste in music. Bought The Golden Age Of Rock and Roll and will consider getting the album. NME are just being snobby as usual. More people will enjoy Def Lep than will ever hear Forward Russia or whatever schmindie nonsense....
