Prunella Minge But, unlike Stephen, you're in the music business and you know a hell of a lot about music. And Stephen's a notoriously contrary fellow - I mean, he used to claim he hated sex and was happy being celibate. He's probably on Uppingham Liberal FM or somewhere at this very moment saying 'they don't make 'em like they used to'.
JK2006 Stephen Fry said I was a boring old fart and my views on the current music scene are just like our fathers' generation who said "they don't make 'em like they used to".
Is that true or is the current music scene losing all mass appeal popularity? Check out yesterday's chart - dull dull dull.
She's Always A Woman the only real hit - and we all know about that (Ged and Sony really blew the chance for millions with the far better Billy Joel original).
It makes me shudder to watch the incompetence; or is Stephen right? I am, after all, 65!
