JK2006 Huge Orbison fan; Elvis Presley called him the best ever singer.
In The Know Roy was a truely unique artist (that phrase is frequently used but rarely true).
JK2006 Yes indeed - and U2 - and, my personal favourite track Comedians - Elvis Costello.

JK, is this the one that Jeff Lynne collaborated on (while they were both members of the Travellin' Wilburys?)
JK2006 both very old by very old people - even then.
But perhaps the most perfect ever singing performance was by LEE VENORA in the final part of And This Is My Beloved from Kismet - her Lincoln Centre recording, played a while back by Elaine Paige and quite spectacular.
