I cannot believe that people did not realise this auto tuning etc was going on. There is NOTHING genuine about this programme. From the unfortunates put on to be ridiculed to the fixing of the finalists. The only reason there is such a high ratings figure is because it has the prime time Saturday night spot! I would really like to see a genuine live performance from previous winners such as Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke.
Why oh why don't they put on really talented people. As I have previously said all the 'contestants' have to go through several auditions before they are put before the main judges and I have known several exceptional singers who don't go through the first audition. The XFactor should not be called a talent show,it is merely an entertainment show and much of the entertainment is misguided to say the least.

I hate the show & everything about it. Hey, let's all start the countdown to damp dark winter nights & the Xmas no.1 in August, yeah!
Mainstream pop is dead, and has been for 10 years now.
If a band like Haircut 100 or Madness appeared now, they wouldn't be on Radio 1 & mainstream telly, they'd be annexed to 6music.

The blatant use of auto tune
When the girl sings she has been autotuned. There are more instances of this in the show but this is the most blatant. In layman's term "autotuning" fixs tuning problems with singers. Over use is obvious on TPain records. This however is a blatant use to improve somebody, hardly fair in a talent show that the public ultimately votes on.

Its a singing talent show, not a voice computer generated show!!
