I DJ`d a whole roller hockey tourament, using only an MP3 player in a Sony Walkman phone.
Amazing innit? I took 1.5 k of PA,one radio mic, a sixteen channel powered desk that weighs an absolute ton, and plugged a mobile into it!
It`s great running music at sporting events, as you can just play your favourite intros, everytime there is a score. The old Led Zep ones go down particularly well.
That all said , if I hear "Howzat", played one more time when someone is caught at a cricket match, this could well cause a run out..... |

on my phone I have... Namie Amuro, The Beloved, Cafe Del Mar ChillHouse collection, 16 of my own tracks and a seven hours of a set I DJ'd last september.
I love 1 gig memory cards. |

I worked with a band once who were recording with her, either that or knew where her studio was,(can`t recall/dim and distant past etc), and the impression I got was that she was a very private person, and really only interested in the music.
And why not? Who wants to open your front door in the morning in your dressing gown and get harrased by well meaning people?
Actually, I can answer that one myself...quite a lot of people actually! But did`nt like it.
Once was enough for me, unfortunately it was Keith Cheggers with a camera crew!
Should I put the dressing gown on e bay? (only joking) |
