BR The best ever DJ in the history of the BBC returns !!!!

Fantastic news. Tony Blackburn is the best and this is such fantastic news.

Wish they would put him back on Radio 1 as well !!
Chris Retro Fantastic! Tony is from the "old days" of R1 and was no doubt hugely influenced by Fluff Freeman in the first place, he also has R1 "Top Forty" pedigree (hosted the sunday countdown between 79 & 82) and dwill be so much better than "Cash My Gold!" Winton - who's appointment I could never understand in the first place
Recently, through his Facebook page, I've seen just how busy and hard-working Tony is still, there's barely a day goes by when he isn't either broadcasting or recording a show.

Incidentally, for anyone with a strong interest in Pick of The Pops or Top of the Pops, try this forum

JK2006 Great news - let's hope they extend the show and go back to playing ALL the top 20 of each year.
