Big End It is indeed utter madness that older writers are overlooked when writing for younger artists. Surely this is the best of both worlds i.e. the artist performs and the writer (unseen) writes? Many labels seem to overlook this rather simple equation.

All this will change very soon as, I predict, TV dies on its backside, the majors become dinosaurs, physical product becomes obsolete, indie club gigs irrelevant and music fans turn more and more to the net for what they like rather than what is hyped at them.
