This is the TIPSHEET and that was a prediction ( TIP ) which actually effects everyone on here who INVESTS in music via the Stock Markets ( and there are many in the New Model who rely on funds from the Stock Markets )
In fact in 2007 - 2009 there were several funds set up to support Music by the last Government which funded artists such as Beverly Knight - Natascha Sohl - and so on. These grants came from the Stock Market funds set aside by Government. You could apply for them ( see the book on Amazon HOW TO MAKE IT IN MUSIC for more details )
The last crash in 2008 at the end of virtually stopped all of this.
A new crash would stop investment completely.
Does anyone know if there are any investment funds for NEW ARTISTS out there still operating ? Usually they get posted on Record of the Day messageboard but I have not seen any for over a year.

Just to let you know that there is alot of insider dealing going on on the Stock Markets to drive the price of stocks up before a potential crash in November ?
In September 2001 this happened before 9.11 - and this has been widely reported since.
So if you have any shares I suggest you look at your position with this article in mind......
The USA elections next week are rumoured to unleash a QE2 ( Quantitative Easing 2 ) which could devalue the currency - start a financial panic. We know that the BoE was considering a UK QE2 just a while back but the 0.8 % growth has stopped it - but it is still on the back burner........
This time of year is always volatile on the Financial Markets - so it will be interesting if we get through November with the markets staying around the 11K mark on the dow and the 5.5 - 6K mark on the FTSE......
