rhythmstar Thanks so much for the kind words. I did this video way back in 1994, when the film "A Million to Juan" was released... the song was on the soundtrack CD. Why I waited so long to post it online is a bit of a mystery, but the fact that BMI sent my royalties to the wrong person for 10 years may have had something to do with it.

The 90s were my Americana period. Previously, label people said I sounded too British for a Texas guy. Then, they said I sounded too Latin for country and too English for Spanish language media. I guess I'm just eclectic.

JK2006 Very nice though I tend to agree with Michael; not really my thing either but very nicely done; video as well as song.

Sorry about the Velvet Rope box - I've never worked out how to access it!
Michael Reminds me (a little ) of "Just to Walk That Little Girl Home", by Willy De Ville. Nice, but not really my cup of margarita.
rhythmstar Hi Jonathan,

Just thought I would drop you note to see if you would listen to a song I put on YouTube. One songwriter to another, you might like it.

The violin is being played by "White Bird" violinist David LaFlamme (I'm the guy in the hat):

I was going to PM you on the Rope, but your box is full.

Cheers,

RS
