BR how many have gone ? and how many left ?
the Artful Dodger Actually most of the firings happened before christmas.
In The Know Wouldn't be at all surprised by this - although Universal are huge they are in no way insulated from the industry downturn.

We simply do not need all these people anymore.
JK2006 I've been predicting this for ages (being, in many ways, the best run - Universal was protected from the reality of the industry collapse; as Lucian may have discovered). There is simply no room anymore for the old corporate structure; and a good thing too.
I hear hundreds are about to be fired next week.
