In The Know I didn't think so .... you managed to do rather a good job without a manager, though !
JK2006 No I wasn't ITK; several offered but I looked after myself (very badly some would say). I never wanted a traditional career; some hits, Vegas, etc. They would have made me record Good News Week, Johnny Reggae, Sun Has Got His Hat On etc under my own name to build "the brand", straighten my mouth into acceptable shape, get contact lenses...

Reason for asking, just reading the (excellent) book "Guns, Cash and Rock & Roll" by Steve Overbury, which details the excesses (ahem !) of people like Don Arden, Andrew Loog Oldham, Kit Lambert et al.
