Pumpkinhead It might just be me but I find Coldplay kinda depressing. Music to commit suicide by.
BarntheBarn I imagine Martin's ego IS the rest of the band. Though quite how it plays intruments I do not know. I agree though Robbie, very bland music, "funeral tunes for humourless folk" but people do love tragic melodies.
robbiex I always found Coldplay very bland, with his fey lyrics and geography teacher looks. However there are some nice songs in there by todays standards.

They also seem very anonymous, can anyone name another member of Colplay apart from Chris Martin.
JK2006 Seems like years ago we were tipping the unsigned band (as we did with Radiohead and others) on The Tip Sheet.
Some amazing songs - my faves are When I Ruled The Livin' The Via Loca and that strange song US Geriatrics (now all dead) covered so wonderfully.
