Chartist yes and no.

Singles at the top of the chart are normally more physical sales. Much more in some cases like McFly last week.

Downloads sell to much a broaded range, as you have many old tracks/albums tracks selling much better on downloads then physical, thus the total downloads picture is quite different from the chart picture.
