JK2006 Spent all day at John Spalding's funeral and reception (wake?) - such a hugely respected music publisher and a fantastic attendance including Tim Rice (many reminiscences of when he, Andrew and I sat outside Tony Hall's Decca office in 1964 waiting for advice from the great man), The Zombies - Rod Argent, Chris White and Colin Blunstone; Judd Lander (who played that harmonica riff on Karma Chameleon); Ellis Rich (legendary publisher) and many others. A sad time but many happy memories.
