Are our young music makers incapable of originality? No, the answer, as usual, is our USELESS executives (thinking - America is bigger than the UK; if we make music that sounds like Brit copies of Yank stuff we'll sell downloads there and since all we care about is profits, that should do nicely).

Contrast with Richard Russell who thinks "Adele's good - let's find her a style of her own" and sells millions - in America!
