JK2006 I shall bid farewell to the old EMI building in Manchester Square tomorrow and wave farewell to the ghosts I meet there.
JK2006 Sad and strange to think I could have saved EMI if Eric Nicoli's request for me as global boss had happened - and Decca if I'd accepted Sir Edward's offer to inherit the label as long as I ran it until my death.

Was I really the only UK music industry executive who could have saved both companies (or either)?
