JK2006	I liked the fact that she knew she'd be mocked but dared to be honest (most politicians try to be down-wit-da-kidz and choose trendy bands). I liked the fact that she was happy to mention older music. I liked the fact that, as a result, we could use short clips of music most viewers would never hear or see. And I liked all 4 of her choices (Memory; We'll Gather Lilacs; Telstar and Doggy) - each a gem of their respective eras. Most of all I liked the fact that she showed genuine pleasure for those tracks. That's what I wanted The Brits to reflect. Imagine Cameron this year... Adele... One Direction... Coldplay... fuck off and die.
JK2006	I think you're wrong Angel. Cheers in the 80's turned to boos and then became nostalgic in the 90s. These days? After Meryl, who knows?
angel	I'm thinking that was unintentional comedy? You wouldn't hear her for boos nowadays.
