DaveTheBass Last Gimme Some TOTP this thursday as it's peaking... If I recall Brendon sings this one live (look out for a black mike rather than the silver fake calrec).

Rock Me tx date was 24.5.77 and it get's one show when it was in the breakers.
Pumpkinhead This week's TOTP had some good stuff on it (especially the The Rubettes). There were no real poor songs, although I thought Brendon's was the weakest.

Musically I couldn't give a stuff whether tom, dick or harry had a criminal conviction or not.
JK2006 No; they just took on the non exclusive distribution - like Decca did - I continued to produce for whoever I liked (i.e. Bay City Rollers - Bell - never been paid) and I could place my tracks with other labels if I liked.

I started going off being a "label boss" when 10cc broke contract for more money; I continued for a few years but my heart wasn't in it - despite huge offers to buy the label I never sold it or let others run it.

by this point I'd gone off running a label and let Magnet have it for a few months.

I thought you had sold UK records and yourself (as a producer) to Polydor/PolyGram.
JK2006 It's a bit like hip hop innit? No respectable rapper hasn't been convicted of something.
