JK2006 I have no faith in the ears or brains of radio programmers - usually cheaply employed trolls with no taste earning very little money and obeying computer rules. It's why music radio is so dreadful in the West these days (it's great in North Africa).

Alex is trying to give the new generation of internet music fans an extra reason to purchase the track as well as just listening to it on You Tube so he's revived the CD physical single and is signing copies around the country. Let's see if it works and boosts sales by providing a souvenir which also contains interesting different mixes.
Cubit That's good JK. I didn't think Alex wouldn't get radio, but I was talking about play list which is always much harder to achieve.

The right plugger will always help.
JK2006 It's starting though - Radio One Sunday; New Music show on Rotation Media (dozens of smaller stations) sandwiched between Katy Perry and Calvin Harris...
cubit Sadly I don't think it will. For mainstream radio (playlist) you still need a plugger with the right relationships with the right producers.

If you're getting that number of views on youtube, then do you even need radio ?

Great to see the story unfold and all the best to Alex !
JK2006 Lots of people seem to love Lady Godiva - but will that influence radio programmers?
