Pumpkinhead Robin Gibb was still writing songs shortly before slipping into coma.

Blue Boy The Bee Gees were never like The Incredible String Band. The Incredible String Band were quirky whose trademark was singing off key and having harmonies that didn't quite harmonise. It was a strange mixture that sometimes didn't work but surprisingly often did. The Bee Gees were always much more traditional and their strength was the purity of the voices and the perfect harmonies, even in their earliest material. I have liked both bands but struggle to think of another example of vocal styles that are further apart.
andrew i loved their early stuff when they were a Pysch/Folk group bit like Incredible Stringband. Disco is not my type and I don't get ABBA.
JK2006 Indeed and all good friends of mine who, I think, would give me credit for helping them break. In fact they wrote a song for me as a Thank You which Robin eventually sang called I Started A Joke.

Get well soon if possible Robin.
Pumpkinhead I thought that this was worth mentioning. I think that Robin Gibb and his brothers were very influential, even in my generation.
