if you produced the hump, singing euphoria or something similar, to eurovision victory then you would be the best producer of all time |

Ah Tom, given the right producer everything is possible (and I am - was - a very good producer; twice voted best in the world). |

i have to disagree, it is the song plus the artist plus the draw plus presentation in that order. if it were just the song then there would be some different results plus the bookies would not offer any market as you, jk, would pick the winner every year and we would all back it and put them out of business
as for the hump singing euphoria and winning, not a chance, absolutely no chance, however the thought of the hump trying to sing euphoria did make me smile, thank you for that image |

"Instant" is the word I used when running the UK end Mike. If Hump had recorded Euphoria (don't laugh - Shirley Bassey did Pink brilliantly) it would have won, whether he was on first or not.
It's the hit that matters - and then the selling of it. |

I'm with JK, although with a more memorable song (which is a more useful definition than a "better" song), the resulting success could have been magnified by his name. In other words, with a great song he could have really gotten huge extra press.
But come on, what's with the "hump" comments? A bit of respect for a guy that gave the Eurovision a shot when most people in his position are slowing down on the golf already. |
