dixie I don't entirely agree.

I'm available for work 24/7, but my priorities change when I'm away from work. That's different from not caring.

I would actually go as far as to say that, generally, most people today are "connected" to work more than previous generations, due to technology.

In any walk of life there will be those who are passionate about their job, and those who treat it as 9-5 Mon to Friday. I'm not convinced that today's lot are any different in approach.
JK2006 We get numerous statistics on these boards and the EMI thread has had 1,344 views so far in a couple of days.

However, what fascinates me is that views to the Tip Sheet board drop hugely after 6pm.

Music industry workers read it at work; not in the evenings - and weekend views are way down.
As opposed to Your Views which has thousands of views every day and night from all over the world.

My generation of music people worked 24/7. Because we loved it.

The new lot simply don't care.
