Michael I've read some very good interviews of lyricist Don Black and John Barry about writing for the screen (and Bond movies in particular). Quick find: www.npr.org/2011/02/04/133372739/remembe...-composer-john-barry But I've read another from Don that was a masterclass in its genre.
JK2006 But is it a hit? I remember the classic Bond themes - huge smashes in their own right and a major part of the Bond franchise. Who could ever forget Goldfinger? But not because of the novel or the film.
JK2006 Rather good; glad they've kept the traditional Bond chords progression.
