It's ironic that if Cowell had swallowed his pride (and grown a set) you could have exerted a very positive influence over The X Factor. Something like "Don't Forget Me When You're On Your Island" would have been a MASSIVE hit with that kind of exposure!

I've spent a lot of my life trying to help people who make good music get hits and recognition. When Peter Gabriel got the Man of the Year Award I'd had some years earlier he said "the one person who deserves to be here can't be". I was in Her Majesty's luxury estate at the time.

Thanks for your answer JK And yes it was 1990. I believe this was Freddie's final public appearance (other than music videos). Also kudos to you for recognizing Queen's contribution while Freddie was still alive; alas many others have jumped on the 'posthumous' bandwagon.
