JK2006 I'm sure I've heard this on a TV commercial; Mercury's big thing but I worry that, like Justin Bieber, this is a talented young man who has not been given the right A&R advice and guidance.

Mercury, I think; is that still Jason Iley? Someone we championed at The Tip Sheet (he picked up Orson, broke them, ruined them).

The generation of music executives we trained so badly. Or has he retired with a big pension, like most of the others?

One day someone will write a fascinating Book of Record about the development of the British (global) music industry - we started it, developed it, ruined it, over a century here in the UK.
