andrew I saw Alvin Lee live when I was 17 he was supported by Edgar Winter, it was a great gig and the longest gig I been to lasted over 3 hours.
JK2006 Oh dear, same age as me. Me Me Me. I worked with Alvin when I ran Decca for the first time in the 60s. Dear Hugh Mendl was his champion. Ten Years After; interesting band;not really my type of music but Alvin was charismatic.

Dead at 68. Dear dear. I'm only just getting started. I need at least another 30 years to accomplish anything worth boasting about.
giles2008 Guitarist with Ten years After/Later. Aged 68.
